This year’s Monterey Motorsports Reunion is bringing together an entire race dedicated to the Shelby GT350. The over 2.5-litre class is already typically filled with Mustangs, but this special feature will bring out 39 GT350s.<\/p>\n

With today’s pre-reunion event now over, we have prepared a preview gallery<\/a> with some of the new cars present at Laguna. We found a newly restored Porsche 908, Nissan 280ZX and an incredible set of post-war Alfas.<\/p>\n

Among the many manufacturer displays, BMW will bring the 2002 BMW M3 GTR Stra?enversion<\/a> from the factory collection in Germany. This will be the second time this model has been seen in North America.<\/p>\n

Right now Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway might be at a crossroads as the local, long-term sanctioning body SCRAMP is being pressured-out in favor of the ISC which is known for its NASCAR events. As Laguna Seca is built on a County Park, this could jeopardize the agreement with the Monterey County Parks Department.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
