2017 Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta<\/h2>\n

Pagani has revealed its latest Zonda the HP Barchetta – and it could be the wildest one yet. Pagani revealed the new Zonda HP Barchetta over the weekend at the Pebble Beach Concours d\u2019Elegance.\u00a0Over the years Pagani has claimed that the then model would be the company\u2019s last iteration of the car, before bringing out another one-off or special edition model.<\/p>\n

The Italian manufacturer has however announced that this would be the final edition of the long-standing supercar, but we\u2019ll see if that is true over the next coming years.\u00a0Zondas have been manufactured since 1999 and since then they have retained their label as being anomalies in the industry, completely unique and utterly insane.\u00a0HP Barchetta will surely look to continue that trend.<\/p>\n

The open-top supercar is an lightweight version of the Zonda which is rumoured to weigh just 1,250kg and just three units of the car will be manufactured.\u00a0One of these will be entering company boss Horacio Pagani\u2019s personal collection.<\/p>\n

Details about the car are thin on the ground but it can be expected that the Zonda will produce around 700bhp. Other rumours suggest that the car will be powered by a naturally-aspirated AMG-sourced V12 engine which will be paired with a six-speed manual gearbox.<\/p>\n

The car\u2019s exterior retains the iconic arrow like frontal taper and huge wing at the back but the bonnet\u2019s V indent is more defined.<\/p>\n

There is no roof whatsoever, just a thin wraparound windscreen which means you\u2019d have to be careful about when you pick to take it for a spin.<\/p>\n

Prices for the car are an eye-popping $17.5 million. Yep, thats right.<\/p>\n
