{"id":343570,"date":"2019-02-27T18:37:14","date_gmt":"2019-02-27T18:37:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/?p=343570"},"modified":"2024-09-05T02:09:28","modified_gmt":"2024-09-05T02:09:28","slug":"the-ginetta-supercar-looks-absolutely-bonkers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/the-ginetta-supercar-looks-absolutely-bonkers\/","title":{"rendered":"The Ginetta Supercar Looks Absolutely Bonkers"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">An Angry-Looking Supercar<\/h2>\n<p>If you want a supercar that doesn&#8217;t have the elegance of a Ferrari or McLaren, then we suggest you check out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginetta.com\/05-03-2019\">Ginetta&#8217;s new Supercar<\/a>. <strong>It looks like the angriest front-engine car we&#8217;ve seen in a long time.<\/strong> It makes the old Dodge Viper ACR look like a wuss. <strong>It&#8217;s a near perfect mashup of the company&#8217;s previous models.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/ginetta-is-working-on-a-600-hp-supercar\/\">reported on the car<\/a> not long ago, and Ginetta pulled the wraps off its new car ahead of the vehicle&#8217;s scheduled launch at the Geneva Motor Show. <strong>The car looks absolutely impressive, and then you take a gander at the spec sheet and get even more excited.<\/strong> Ginetta has made what appears to be an amazing car.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The car has a top speed of 200 mph, a dry-sumped 90-degree 6.0-liter V8 engine, 600 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque, and the engine is paired to a bespoke six-speed sequential transmission.<\/strong> The car only weighs around 2,500 pounds thanks to plenty of carbon fiber. Weight distribution is almost perfectly balanced, too. That&#8217;s a recipe for speed and fun, which are two things Ginetta knows about intimately.<\/p>\n<p>The car is <strong>the company&#8217;s flagship road car<\/strong> that you should also be able to use on the track to dominate the competition. The company said <strong>Alcantara, carbon fiber, and billet aluminum will feature in the interior.<\/strong> The car also comes with ABS, traction control, reverse camera, parking sensors, automatic headlights, a full HVAC system with heated seats, phone connectivity, and more. <strong>It will compete right with the big names in the supercar market,<\/strong> and we welcome it into the
