Bugatti Centodieci<\/h1>\n

The Bugatti Centodieci is the brand’s homage to one of its most iconic supercars of all time, the EB110<\/a>. Images of the Centodieci were leaked<\/a> ahead of the launch of the car and rumors have spread before the reveal. Despite this, the car is undeniably impressive and a force to be reckoned with when compared to any car ever. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The vehicle has sleek EB110-inspired looks, Bugatti did a good job of making the car look like an homage to the old supercar while still making it appear new and modern. Built on the Chiron, there’s no denying that this vehicle is much more than the Chiron. <\/strong><\/p>\n

For starters, the car has an 8.0-liter W16 engine. You might not think that’s super impressive. After all, it’s the same engine as is in the Chiron, but in the Centodieci, the car makes more power. Bugatti endowed the Centodieci with 1,578 hp.<\/strong> The car is also 44 pounds lighter weight than the Chiron. It’ll do a 0-60 mph sprint in just 2.4 seconds<\/strong> and continue on up to 124 mph in as little as 6.1 seconds. The car can make it to 186 mph in just a little over 13 seconds. It’ll top out at 236 mph. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Difficult to Pull Off<\/h3>\n

Bugatti’s design director Achim Anscheidt said that the process of making the Centodieci into what it is was not an easy task. He said: <\/p>\n

Transporting this classic look into the new millennium without copying it was technically complex, to say the least. We had to create a new way of combining the complex aerothermal requirements of the underlying Chiron technology with a completely different aesthetic appearance.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

While the design was obviously challenging, there is no doubt in our mind that Bugatti has managed to pull it off. The car looks correct. It works as a tribute, utilizing enough of the EB110’s design and styling elements to qualify as a tribute but also working to move the design forward and push the envelope beyond what the Chiron does. In short, the Centodieci appears to be a near-perfect blend of the Chiron and the EB110 with a few of its own special styling elements to set it apart from both of the cars. We imagine that Bugatti has to be pretty pleased with the end result. <\/p>\n

The company will make only 10 examples of the Centodieci. According to various reports<\/a> out there, all of those 10 cars have been bought. The price tag for this insane car? $8.9 million. <\/p>\n
