Porsche claims that the car’s 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine makes 443 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque. That’s a good amount of power, but Motor Trend found the car made 414 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque.<\/strong> When you think that the engine’s power is filtered through the car’s drivetrain, the actual numbers for the engine are likely higher. According to the publication, you can expect the numbers at the engine’s crank to be around 487 hp and 478 lb-ft of torque. <\/strong><\/p>\nWhile this information is interesting and not at all bad, it does bring to question the truthfulness of Porsche’s other vehicles power claims. Are they underrated as well?<\/strong> Porsche has some higher-powered variants upcoming.
