The next car could apparently have a hybrid powertrain and all-wheel drive. <\/strong><\/p>\nThe publication says the car will likely get a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 with mild-hybrid technology.<\/strong> Insiders told Autocar that the car will push 650 hp<\/strong> and have an electric boosting capability. The car will also receive a healthy boost in torque from the electric motor. Torque power numbers are unknown, but you can expect something around 700 lb-ft. <\/strong><\/p>\nMercedes won’t stop with a fancy hybrid system, though. The company will also make sure it pushes all that power from the powertrain to all the wheels. This will include some handy torque-vectoring system.<\/strong> The all-wheel-drive system should improve traction and make the car much faster around a racetrack.
