Recent reports indicate that McLaren will take its Sports Series range to a new level with the 620R. The car, according to PistonHeads<\/a>, that McLaren will build is the 620R as a road-going GT4 car, similar to the 570S GT4 (shown above).<\/strong> The 620R will be based on the 600LT and it’ll take that car even further from a high-performance standpoint than ever before. <\/p>\n The car will get a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8<\/strong> and that should put the horsepower somewhere around 612 hp.<\/strong> That’s up from the 600LT’s 5912 hp. In addition to the boost in power, the car will also get a new front splitter, and a host of aerodynamic adjustments to the corners, hood, and sill extensions. The car will also come with a large rear wing.<\/strong> The exhaust has also been rerouted to a lower position to either side of the rear diffuser. <\/p>\n McLaren 600LT not hardcore enough for you?
