That’s a Fast Lap<\/h2>\n

The Ferrari 488 Pista<\/a> is an impressive car, and the guys at Sport Auto decided to see how fast they could get it around the Nurburgring.<\/strong> The car was piloted by Christian Gebhardt and he managed to get the car around the track with a time of nearly seven minutes flat. The official time was 7:00.3 <\/strong><\/p>\n

That’s not the fastest time out there, but it is very fast. For reference, the Lamborghini Aventador SV did the lap in six minutes and 59.73 seconds. The Porsche 918 Spyder did the lap in six minutes 57 seconds. The truly impressive times these days around the Nurburgring are under seven minutes, but the 488 Pista came extremely close to that impressive benchmark.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Honestly, anything under 10 minutes around the Nurburgring is considered pretty quick. This time around the track puts the 488 Pista up with the best in the business, which should be no big surprise. The Nordschleife at the Nurburgring is a 13-mile long lap with 170 corners and two banked turns. There are elevation changes and long straights. It is the ultimate test of a supercar, and the Pista performed really well on it.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
