The Tiny Mid-Engine Wonder Persists a While Longer<\/h2>\n

It came out recently that Alfa wouldn’t be moving forward with its plans<\/a> for more high-performance cars. Also, several publications reported that the Alfa Romeo 4C was officially canceled. Well, it seems that’s not actually the case. Carscoops<\/a> reached out to Jordan Wasylyk a communications rep who works for Fiat and Alfa Romeo and he said that the car is not dead. <\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the publication, Wasylyk said, \u201cThe US 4C Spider is not canceled and is still available for order.<\/strong>\u201d That means that the car isn’t just rolling out like usual, but if you want one, you can order one specifically how you want it. Also, it’s important to note that Alfa has not announced plans for a successor. That paired with the fact that Alfa will be focusing on SUVs and more profitable models in the future likely means that the 4C’s days are numbered. <\/p>\n

If you want the little mid-engine exotic<\/a> with a turbocharged 1.75-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 237 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque,<\/strong> then you’ll have to act fast. It’s a great little sports car, with a top speed of 257 mph and a 0 to 60 mph time of 4.1 seconds. It’s also probably the cheapest car you can find with a full carbon tub.
