The Aventador’s frankly stunning performance figures, from the 2.9sec 0-62mph time to the 217mph top end, remain unchanged. But to judge the improvements Lamborghini has implemented based on data alone is to entirely miss the point. I’m done

Porsche unveiled the facelifted 991.2 GT3 at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show (as a 2018 model year). Extensive changes were made to the engine allowing for a 9,000 rpm redline from the 4.0 litre flat-six engine. Porsche’s focus was on reducing internal friction to improve throttle response. Compared to the 991.1, the rear spoiler is higher and located farther back to be more effective. There is a new front spoiler and changes to the rear suspension. The 991.2 GT3 brought back the choice between a manual transmission or a PDK dual clutch transmission. Following the roots of the 2016 911R, a touring version of the GT3 was introduced that removes the rear wing and replaces it with the rear spoiler from the Carrera GTS to give a more smooth and flowing aesthetic image, though it extends further upwards to provide extra downforce. The Touring is only available with a manual transmission, features leather versus Alcantara, and cannot be specified with the Clubsport package available with the normal GT3. Learn more…

Pagani Huayra BC

For those who thought the Huayra was too soft

The Pagani Huayra BC needs no introduction. The front splitter and rear diffuser are now carbon fiber. The front end is has also been redesigned to reduce understeer. What really makes the new Vanquish S exciting, however, is its engine. The car draw its power from Aston Martin’s 6.0-litre V12 engine. The engine is fitted with a revised intake system that should give the engine an additional 27 bhp, bumping its power total to 595 bhp with 630 Nm of torque. Learn more…

Lamborghini Centenario

100th anniversary of the birth of Mr. Ferruccio Lamborghini

Conceived as a special tribute to the company’s founder Ferruccio Lamborghini, the Centenario is a top of the line model which features the best that this legendary make has to offer. The Terzo Millennio was unveiled in November 2017. The Terzo Millennio uses high-capacity supercapacitors in lieu of batteries, due to their more rapid storage and discharge of energy. These supercapacitors have been made to simultaneously capture and release energy to give the car an increase in performance, without having to depend on chemical reactions. Each wheel, the rims of which glow orange, contains an electric motor, so that the amount of torque can be controlled individually, making the car’s stability as good as a modern Formula One car. Learn more…

Top 10 Supercars Of 2017 – The Coolest, Best & Most Exciting Cars In The World This Year As we approach the end of the year it is time again to look at the cars we lust over, the ones that made our automotive year.
