However, Miles also raced a 1965 Ford Mustang GT350 fastback on occasion. To commemorate this, Ford has rolled out a new Shelby GT350 and GT350 R in the same colors. <strong>The company calls it <a href=\"https:\/\/media.ford.com\/content\/fordmedia\/fna\/us\/en\/news\/2019\/12\/19\/limited-edition-shelby-gt350-heritage-edition-package.html\">the Heritage Edition<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The car features a <strong>Wimbledon White paint job with Guardsman Blue stripes.<\/strong> The car also gets GT350 rocker lettering at the rear.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLooking back on it, what <strong>Ford and Carroll Shelby created back in the mid-\u201860s was so important to Mustang,<\/strong>\u201d said Jim Owens, Mustang marketing manager. \u201cWith their authentic exterior livery and unique appointments and performance Ken could have only dreamed of, the Mustang Shelby GT350 and GT350R Heritage Edition Package vehicles are a meaningful way to pay tribute.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The cars don&#8217;t feature anything differently mechanically. Under that beautiful paint job, the GT350 and GT350 R Heritage Edition cars are the same as the standard versions. This means a <strong>5.2-liter cross-plane crank V8 that puts out 526 hp and 429 lb-ft of torque.<\/strong> Adding the package to the car will cost $1,965, which is again a homage to the original
