The Koenigsegg Jesko Prototype is moving along well it would seem. Koenigsegg’s boss, Christain von Koenigsegg, took the Jesko prototype out for a drive<\/a> to put the first street miles on the car. The vehicle is now entering its extensive testing period.<\/strong> The vehicle looks as good as you might expect it to. The Jesko<\/a> should be one of the most extreme hypercars out there.<\/p>\n The tradition of Koenigsegg’s CEO taking the car out for the first time was something that he did with other vehicles the company has produced. Now he has done it with the Jesko. The company released a video on YouTube that shows him behind the wheel as employees look on at the vehicle as he drives it.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n The Jesko was named after Koenigsegg’s father. It’s the replacement to the Agera hypercar the company previously sold. The car has a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. The engine makes 1280 hp or 1600 hp on E85.<\/strong> It also makes a peak torque number of 1106 lb-ft<\/strong>. That engine is mated to a bespoke nine-speed transmission.
