Lamborghini Huracan Evo RWD<\/h1>\n

The New Rear-Drive Supercar<\/h2>\n

The Huracan Evo<\/a> is an amazing supercar, and Lamborghini is working to make the most of the design. The company released<\/a> the Huracan Evo Rear-Wheel Drive.<\/strong> The model is a paired back version of the car that looks to be possibly the best version for the true drivers out there.<\/p>\n

The model is powered by a 5.2-liter V10<\/strong> but it’s been detuned. It produces 610 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque<\/strong>. The car will cost \u00a3137,000 (about $179,000). Removing the all-wheel-drive system also removes about 73 pounds. The car can do a 0-62 mph run in 2.9-seconds<\/strong>. It takes 9.3 seconds to get to 124 mph. The car will top out at 201 mph.<\/p>\n

While the car isn’t the quickest Huracan out there, it’s supposed to be the best to drive. The company provided this through reprogramming the car’s electronic driver aids, specifically the Performance Traction Control system<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The car doesn’t have four-wheel steering or four-wheel torque vectoring. The traction settings are divided up into Strada, Sport, and Corsa. The Strada is for the street and the must nanny heavy. The Sport is a little more freeing, and Corsa is the freest. You can also turn ESC off completely.\u00a0The chassis gets Lamborghini’s MagneRide electromagnetic dampers as an option. <\/strong><\/p>\n

In terms of what sets this model apart from the other Huracans, there isn’t much. This new model gets a new front splitter, new vertical fins, and larger front air intakes. There’s also a new rear bumper and rear diffuser.<\/p>\n

Weighing just 1,389 kg, the Hurac\u00e1n EVO RWD has a top speed of 325 km\/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km\/h in 3.3 seconds. Despite its top-figure capabilities, the Hurac\u00e1n EVO RWD is not focused on straight-line speeds or lap records: with a unique new design, the Hurac\u00e1n EVO RWD proclaims its designation as an instinctive driver\u2019s car.<\/p>\n

    Engineered for driving fun<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The V10 engine delivers more than just power to the rear-wheel drive set-up: the sound of the naturally aspirated power plant combines with the specially tuned traction control system to deliver the most emotive, fun-to-drive experience in both dry and wet conditions, and even snow. The new Performance Traction Control System (P-TCS) is calibrated specifically for the rear-wheel drive Hurac\u00e1n EVO, delivering torque even during the phase where the car is realigning following drifting or side-slipping.<\/p>\n

    Whereas a \u2018normal\u2019 traction control system delivers a sharp decoupling, waiting for a car to become completely stable before delivering torque again, the P-TCS car delivers torque in advance, avoiding a harsh torque cut and assuring better traction when exiting a corner.<\/p>\n

    The P-TCS intervention is calibrated according to the Hurac\u00e1n EVO RWD\u2019s driving modes, selected via the steering wheel\u2019s ANIMA button (Adaptive Network Intelligent Management: \u2018soul\u2019 in Italian). In STRADA, the P-TCS minimizes rear wheel slippage to ensure stability and safety in all conditions: with a more proactive strategy P-TCS manages torque delivery on low-adhesion surfaces.<\/p>\n

    In SPORT mode, the P-TCS maximizes the fun-to-drive experience: the rear wheels can slide and skate during acceleration, for easy drifting fun without compromising safety. The system recognizes conditions where the angle of oversteer increases rapidly and limits torque delivery to the rear wheels, allowing the driver to perfectly control and stabilize the car.<\/p>\n

    In CORSA, the P-TCS is calibrated to achieve the rear-wheel slip that optimizes the car\u2019s traction and agility when exiting a corner, allowing the driver to maximize performance. The P-TCS improves smoothness of intervention by 30% compared to the previous Hurac\u00e1n RWD model; improves corner-exit traction by 20% and enhances oversteer by 30%.<\/p>\n

    The Hurac\u00e1n EVO RWD\u2019s hybrid chassis integrates lightweight aluminum and carbon fiber with an aluminum and thermoplastic resin body, with a total dry weight of 1,389 kg giving a weight-to-power ratio of 2.28 kg\/hp. With front\/rear weight distribution of 40\/60, the Hurac\u00e1n EVO RWD sits on double wishbone suspension with overlapped quadrilaterals and passive shock absorbers. The electro-mechanical, servo-assisted Lamborghini Dynamic Steering (LDS) is tuned specifically for the Hurac\u00e1n EVO RWD, ensuring maximum feedback. The seven-speed dual clutch gearbox ensures the fastest gear changes, with launch control for maximum acceleration from a standing start. The 19\u201d Kari rims with specially-developed Pirelli P Zero tires are fitted with ventilated and cross-drilled steel brakes. As an option 20\u201d rims and carbo-ceramic brakes are available.<\/p>\n

    Fresh design for pure performance<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The Hurac\u00e1n EVO RWD continues the V10 Lamborghini\u2019s powerful design with new front and rear features, clearly differentiating it from its Hurac\u00e1n EVO 4WD stablemate.<\/p>\n

    The Hurac\u00e1n EVO RWD is characterized by a sculpted, purposeful persona, complemented by a new front splitter and vertical fins within the larger, framed front air intakes. The rear bumper in high gloss black incorporates a new diffuser unique to the Hurac\u00e1n EVO RWD.<\/p>\n

    Inside, the cockpit features a HMI 8.4\u201d touchscreen in the center console of the car, controlling all aspects of the car\u2019s functions as well as managing full connectivity such as telephone calls, internet access, and including Apple CarPlay.<\/p>\n

    Both inside and out, Lamborghini\u2019s Ad Personam program provides unsurpassed options for color and trim personalization, allowing owners of the Hurac\u00e1n EVO RWD to impose their individual style and personality on their new Lamborghini driving machine. In order to emphasize the shape of the car the new color, Giallo Belenus (yellow), has been developed together with a dedicated leather and Alcantara color for the interior trim, matching the new exterior paint.<\/p>\n
