Bugatti is only going to build 500 of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/chris-harris-reviews-the-1500-hp-bugatti-chiron\/\">Chiron<\/a> and according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carmag.co.za\/news\/industry-news\/bugatti-confirms-chiron-production-will-come-to-an-end-late-in-2021\/\">CarMag<\/a>, there are only 100 units unsold. <strong>This does not include the Chiron-based special edition cars. Bugatti will likely continue to produce those cars.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Stephan Winkelmann, Bugatti&#8217;s president, has already said that a new car is coming. It will be a new high-performance model and should be revealed at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show.<strong> It&#8217;s unclear if this car will be the successor to the Chiron or if it will be another <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/the-bugatti-chiron-noire-sportive-and-noire-elegance\/\">Chiron-based special edition<\/a>. Fingers crossed for the successor.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlthough we\u2019re proud to look back on our past, we\u2019re looking forward to the future with purpose and pleasure,\u201d said Winkelmann.<\/p>\n<p>Winkelmann did say Bugatti would add a second model to the Bugatti range, so another car is coming. \u201cAll I can say is this: we\u2019ll be presenting a few interesting surprises in 2020.
