That is expected of course, as the economy and the classic car market are in a far different place. Plus, there are not as many &#8220;headline&#8221; offerings, with the Jaguar C-Type being the only car that should fetch above $2,500,000. A more attainable goal for RM would be to match last year&#8217;s strong 85% sales rate.<\/p>\n<p>RM&#8217;s annual Sports &amp; Classics of Monterey event returns to the Portola Hotel &amp; Spa and Monterey Convention Center, August 13th to 15th. The auction preview will commence August 12th from 12noon \u2013 6:00pm, followed by full-day previews on August 13th through 15th with auction action each evening. Admission to the auction is $40.00 USD per person.
