\"\"<\/a>Kemp Auto Museum, located in Chesterfield, Missouri, announced the appointment of Terry Trowbridge as Curator for the Museum\u2019s antique automobile collection.<\/p>\n

Trowbridge has been a car enthusiast for more than 50 years, and is a long-time member of Mercedes, Porsche and Austin Healy Clubs on the local and national level. For the past 30 years, Terry has had a keen interest in foreign cars, particularly sports cars. He has considerable experience in the restoration process \u2013 specifically in the research of historical aspects of automotive lines and models, and with the inner workings of vehicle assembly and mechanical systems.<\/p>\n

Through his interest and research of foreign automobiles, Trowbridge has visited a number of the top automotive museums around the world, including England, Austria, Germany and across the United States. Terry has also attended prestigious retro auto shows in Barcelona, Spain and in the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n

A former owner of Telco Distributors for more than 30 years, Trowbridge retired in 2003 and sold his company. Terry and Museum Executive Director Rodger Van Ness became acquainted through their love of European automobiles, and because of his vast experience and knowledge of the restoration process, Van Ness offered him the position of Curator. \u201cI am fortunate to be working now at the hobby I love,\u201d notes Trowbridge.<\/p>\n

According to Van Ness, Trowbridge will bring unique skills and knowledge to his position as Curator. \u201cTerry has wide-ranging experience in auto mechanics, preservation, and historical research, which will be a key contribution to the ongoing maintenance of the Museum\u2019s collection.\u201d<\/p>\n
