A record number of visitors attended the two-day event, a worthy tribute to the prestigious past of the Champagne racing circuit.<\/p>\n<p>Nearly 250 participants took turns on the Reims-Gueux Circuit to put on a show demonstrating their machines brought out especially for the occasion. The racing cars were impressive in their performance on the track, from the 1920\u2019s and 1930\u2019s models such as the Amilcars, L\u00e9on Boll\u00e9es and other Bugattis through to the more recent Alfa Romeos, Matras and Jaguars.
