Barrett has been named the new Executive Director of the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Museum in Hershey. He was selected for this position by the AACA Museum Board Executive and Search Committees following a nationwide search.<\/p>\n<p>Mike is a business and marketing executive with over 36 years of broad domestic and international experience, and proven ability to establish strategic direction and achieve results.<\/p>\n<p>Most recently he led a financial services organization in Southeast Asia, as their Group Managing Director. Prior to that, he served as CEO\/President Chase USA, N.A., a JP Morgan Chase Subsidiary in Delaware. Mike has a BS in Economics and Business Administration and an MBA in Finance.<\/p>\n<p>Mike has been a member of a variety of non-profit boards, including the AACA Museum\u2019s board in 2003-2004. He is an active antique auto hobbyist, passionate about old cars and the history surrounding the automobile. The background and experience he brings will be assets to the AACA Museum in continuing its mission: dedicated to the celebration, preservation, education and display of motor vehicle history that provides value and entertainment for our members, hobbyists and the public. Mike Barrett will begin as Executive Director on October 25, 2010.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>About the AACA Museum<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The Antique Auto Museum at Hershey, a member of the Smithsonian Institute Affiliations Program, displays beautifully restored automobiles, buses and motorcycles in unique life-like scenes representing the 1900\u2019s \u2013 1970\u2019s in a cross-country journey from New York to San Francisco. This Museum, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, is one of the nation\u2019s newest and largest automotive museums. Special exhibits change several times a year and focus on a variety of eras and types of vehicles. The Museum is located just off Route 39, one mile west of Hersheypark Drive in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Regular admission $10, seniors age 61 and older $9, juniors age 4-12 $7, children age 3 and under are free.
