A strong entry list of 550 historic automobiles competed in 17 groups running the gamut from Pre-1940 Sports Racing and Touring Cars to 1981-1989 FIA Manufacturer&#8217;s Championship &amp; IMSA GTPs. Jaguar was the featured marque at the 2011 event, having served in the same capacity at the 1976 and 1992 Historics.<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion represented the 38th consecutive year of vintage car racing on the Monterey Peninsula in August.
