The Danville Concours d’Elegance 2011 was held September 17-18 on the streets of historic downtown Danville, California. The 7th annual event weekend included a traditional Concours, plus a Tour d’Elegance rally and Dinner d’Elegance celebration at the Blackhawk Museum.<\/p>\n

Headline entrants at the 2011 Danville Concours d’Elegance included the 1959 Aston Martin DB 2\/4 Mk II; 1929 Duesenburg SJ Lebaron Dual Cowl Phaeton; 1970 Maserati Ghibli Spyder; 1968 Ferrari 275 GTB\/4 NART Spider; 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster; Ferrari 250 GT\/L Competition; McLaren M8C Can-Am; among others.<\/p>\n

Best of Show British was awarded to the 1953 Arnolt MG Coupe of James and Kayrn Silva, Best of Show German was presented to Frank Gabrielli’s 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster, Sal Zammitti’s 1972 Ferrari Dino 246 GT won Best of Show Italian, the 1961 Imperial LeBaron of Dan Caruth took home Best of Show American and the Best of Show Race Car went to the 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray of William Neu.<\/p>\n

The Danville d\u2019Elegance Foundation is dedicated to supporting organizations in their pursuit of a cure for Parkinson’s disease, while raising funds to benefit the advancement of both Parkinson’s research and patient care. Since 2004, the Foundation has raised more than $1.3 Million for Parkinson’s research and patient care.<\/p>\n
