\"\"<\/a>Rental car company Hertz announced that the McLaren MP4-12C sports car is now available for hire, offered exclusively by Hertz \/ Premiere Velocity in the UK.<\/p>\n

Michel Taride, President, Hertz International and Executive Vice-President, Hertz Corporation, said, “Hertz aspires to offer truly innovative rental experiences to our customers, and the spell-binding McLaren MP4-12C provides an opportunity of a lifetime to experience Formula 1 race-bred technologies on the road.”<\/p>\n

Demonstrating McLaren’s motorsport DNA, the 12C’s unique carbon fiber ‘MonoCell’ chassis weighs just over 165 lbs. The McLaren Airbrake and McLaren Brake Steer support 12C dynamics and bespoke ProActive Chassis Control suspension and SSG transmission deliver ultimate track times and supreme comfort on the road. The 12C features a 3.8-litre V8 twin turbo engine, which produces 592hp and 600Nm torque.<\/p>\n

While the McLaren retails at GBP212,000, Hertz customers can experience the 12C from rates starting at GBP1134.30 for a single day mid-week and GBP906.30 per day for rentals lasting over 28 days.<\/p>\n

Through the Hertz \/ Premiere Velocity partnership, customers are also able to drive the Lamborghini Aventador and LP560-4 Bicolore, Porsche Carrera 4 GTS Cabriolet, Ferrari 458 Italia, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster and S Class Brabus and Rolls-Royce Phantom. Customers can be provided with a meet and greet service that delivers cars to an agreed location such as home, hotel, office or airport.<\/p>\n
