The RM Auctions Arizona 2013 sale will be held January 18th on the grounds of the Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa in Phoenix.<\/p>\n

“Our Arizona sale boasts a strong track record for presenting automobiles of exceptional quality and pedigree,” said Shelby Myers, Managing Director, RM California.<\/p>\n

“Continuing this theme in 2013, our upcoming sale at the Arizona Biltmore features the finest offering in the event\u2019s 14-year history. With an emphasis on \u2018best of category\u2019 examples, the catalogue spans the spectrum of the market, from important and historic sports and racing cars, such as the 250 GT SWB and the Ford GT40, through to elegant coachbuilt automobiles and American muscle.”<\/p>\n

More than 80 classic and significant automobiles will cross the auction podium at the 14th annual RM Arizona auction, headlined by a 1960 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta Competizione, 1965 Ford GT40, 1938 Delahaye 135 MS Coupe, 1930 Duesenberg Model J Tourster and 1956 Mercedes-Benz 300Sc Cabriolet.<\/p>\n

In addition to the Competition 250 GT SWB, other notable Ferraris on offer include a Classiche-certified, Platinum award-winning 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB, an original, matching-numbers 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB\/4, 1973 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS ‘Chairs and Flares’ and a matching-numbers 1954 Ferrari 250 Europa Coupe.<\/p>\n

Further significant entries at the 2013 RM Auctions Arizona sale include a trio of Shelbys, led by a fully documented 1967 Shelby 427 \u2018Semi-Competition\u2019 Cobra, the 1963 Shelby ‘Factory Competition-Specification’ Cobra built for Lance Reventlow and a 1965 Shelby Mustang GT350 R.<\/p>\n

The 2013 RM Auction Arizona sale will be held Friday, January 18th at the Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa in Phoenix. Items will be available for preview January 17th from 9:00am MST and on January 18th from 9:00am MST. The auction will begin on January 18th at 11:00am MST.
