HMSA will stage the Spring Club Event on March 23-24, 2013 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Salinas, California.<br \/>\nThe quintessential West Coast &#8220;car guy,&#8221; Swig will be remembered over the race weekend for his many contributions to the sport, unbridled love of automobiles and passion for driving. He could always be counted on to race some of the more unique cars of the event. A selection of those cars will be displayed and raced at the event by Swig&#8217;s sons, David and Howard.<br \/>\nSwig, who <a title=\"Remembering Martin Swig\" href=\"https:\/\/sportscardigest.com\/remembering-martin-swig-1934-2012\/\">passed away<\/a> on July 3, 2012, created such memorable automotive events as the California Mille, the Anti-Football Run and the Doubler 500, as well as running one of the most successful automobile dealerships in San Francisco. <a title=\"Martin Swig - Interview\" href=\"https:\/\/sportscardigest.com\/martin-swig-interview-and-profile\/\">(See Martin Swig &#8211; Interview and Profile)<\/a><br \/>\nThe 2013 HMSA Spring Club Event will feature its customary, non-spectator club race format and groupings of historic racing cars.
