The Historic Grand Prix Cars Association held its Spring Test Day on Friday, April 19, 2013 at the Silverstone National Circuit in England. Held the day before the annual VSCC Spring Start, the event is a great opportunity for both the car and driver to get up to speed before the vintage and historic racing season begins.
\nA varied and interesting selection of automobiles challenged the 2.638 km, 6-turn Silverstone National Circuit, including a 1954 Kurtis 500 S, Alfa Romeo Tipo B P3, 1948 HW Alta Jaguar Streamliner, 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO, Costin Lister Jaguar Coupe, Aston Martin 1.5-Litre Le Mans Team Car, Ferrari 250 GT SWB, 1956 HWM Jaguar GT Coupe, BMW 3.0 CSL Batmobile and a selection of Maserati sports racers, among others.
\nSenior Photographer Tim Scott was on hand to document the 2013 HGPCA Spring Test Day at Silverstone, offering up a wonderful selection of on- and off-track images from the annual event.
