The 11th annual event will again offer interesting and important automobiles and motorcycles displayed in a garden-party setting.<br \/>\nThe 2013 edition of the Quail will honor 100 years of Aston Martin and feature a Retrospective of Automobili Lamborghini Celebrating 50 Years, as well as a Tribute to the California Mille in Honor of Martin Swig and Peter Brock Designs. In addition, Bonhams&#8217; 16th annual motor car auction will also be held in conjunction with the event.<br \/>\nThe Peninsula Signature Events also announced the appointment of Gordon McCall as Director of Motorsports. After 10 successful years as lead consultant on the Peninsula Signature Events, McCall will assume a full-time position overseeing the series of motorsports gatherings. An avid classic car and motorcycle aficionado himself, McCall served as a judge and field coordinator for the Pebble Beach Concours d&#8217;Elegance for more than 25 years.
