The 2014 Donington Historic Festival will be held May 3-5 at the 12-turn, 2.5-mile Donington Park near Castle Donington in Leicestershire, England.
\nFestival organiser Duncan Wiltshire said, \u201c2013 was our first ever three-day Festival, and it was a great success. Consequently we are delighted to be keeping to three days again for 2014 and, in response to popular demand, this will be Saturday, Sunday and Monday This will allow the drivers and fans to enjoy superb historic racing \u2013 and all our off-track attractions such as the rally car demonstrations \u2013 for the entire Bank Holiday weekend, which we hope will make the event even more accessible for spectators new to the sport, as well as satisfying the most dedicated historic car enthusiasts.\u201d
\nThe 2014 running of the Donington Historic Festival aims to deliver strong grids of historic single-seaters, sports cars and Touring Cars, driven by top drivers, coupled with Donington’s open-access paddock that always proves to be a fan favorite. \nTickets for the 4th annual Donington Historics will go on sale in November. Car clubs will remain integral to the event, with clubs large and small invited to form the displays that offer enthusiasts the opportunity to wander around the \u2018living motoring museum\u2019 that assembles on the infield, and to see the car club parades. Other attractions will include historic rally car action, fast demonstration laps from special race cars, the trade village and the Donington Grand Prix Collection museum.
