\"\"<\/a>RM Auctions, in association with Auctions America, will offer the Sam Pack Car Collection on November 14-15, 2014 at the Pack Automotive Museum located near Dallas, Texas. The event will feature more than 130 of Pack’s automobiles during the single-vendor auction.<\/p>\n

Sam Pack\u2019s museum collection represents more than a dozen years of acquisition. It also reflects Pack\u2019s lifelong love affair with the automobile, a passion he shares with his family.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve had a love affair with cars since I was a teenager, it\u2019s in my DNA,\u201d says Pack. \u201cFortunately, for me, it\u2019s continued through my professional and business career. It\u2019s a passion shared and supported by my family – they get as much joy out of the cars as I do.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pack built his collection by handpicking a diverse assortment of automotive rarities in a range of different categories. Though the collection is highlighted by a series of Fords \u2013 a nod to Pack\u2019s long association with the marque, first working for Ford Motor Company, and later, as a current owner \/ operator of one of the marque\u2019s most successful dealer networks \u2013 it is not restricted to one singular automotive brand. Rather, it is marked by variety and features American automobiles. From icons from the fifties and sixties, through to a collection of Detroit muscle, and an assortment of concepts, street rods, customs and modern collectibles, almost every decade and genre of automotive production is represented, with all vehicles professionally maintained.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy collecting philosophy is simple: buy what I like, but always with an emphasis on quality,\u201d Pack adds.<\/p>\n

This November, Pack will bid farewell to more than 130 of his automotive treasures as he \u2018downsizes\u2019 his collection at auction, reducing the group to a more manageable level and allowing him to remain active in the hobby. All lots will be offered \u2018without reserve\u2019, selling to the highest bidder. Among highlights from the various different categories slated for the auction podium are a 1957 Ford Thunderbird \u2018F-Code\u2019 Convertible, a 1963 Shelby 289 Cobra, and a 2006 Ford GT to name but a few.<\/p>\n
