The Mecum Kissimmee 2015 auction will be held January 16-25 at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Florida. The ten-day Kissimmee sale will see more than 3,000 vehicles and hundreds of automotive memorabilia items cross the block in Florida at the world\u2019s largest collector car auction.<\/p>\n

The Wellborn Muscle Car Museum Collection will be among the offerings at the Mecum Kissimmee 2015 auction<\/a>.Nearly half of Tim Wellborn\u2019s muscle car collection will cross the block in Florida, headlined by the 1969 Dodge Hemi Daytona (Est. $800,000 – $1,000,000) that’s the lowest-mile original engine 4-speed Hemi Daytona documented to exist. Formerly part of the Otis Chandler Collection, the Daytona was displayed at Amelia Island in 2006 and St. John\u2019s in 2014.<\/p>\n

Kissimmee will bring with it a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for buyers looking to acquire these extremely rare and highly sought-after muscle cars.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wellborn’s 1971 Dodge Hemi Charger RT, formerly owned by Mopar collector Steve Segal and NFL Linebacker Kevin Greene, is one of 63 built in the model\u2019s final year of production with the Hemi engine and also one of very few equipped with the rare code-M51 power sunroof option (Est. $450,000 – $550,000).<\/p>\n

The 1969 Dodge Hemi Charger 500 (Est. $125,000 – $175,000) is most highly optioned Charger 500 known to exist. This 44,175 original example has been part of the Wellborn Collection since 2004.<\/p>\n

The 1971 Dodge Hemi Super Bee was the test car for the December 1970 Motor Trend<\/em> cover story and was also featured in the April 1971 issue of Popular Hot Rodding<\/em> (Est. $175,000 – $225,000). The original owner read the Motor Trend<\/em> article then went to Swift Dodge in Sacramento and told them he wanted the actual car in the magazine. After several months of follow up, Chrysler agreed to sell the PR car.<\/p>\n
