They took an existing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/2013-porsche-911-rsr\/\">2012 Type 997 911 GT3 RSR Evo<\/a> chassis, plucked the engine from a street-legal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/2008-porsche-911-gt2\/\">Type 997 911 GT2<\/a>, and with the use of some ingenuity managed to make the two work together.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-368101\" src=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Capture-1.jpg\" alt=\"Porsche 997 911 GT2 RSR\" width=\"1920\" height=\"966\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And then they turned everything up to 11. The engine has been stroked from 3.6 to 3.9 liters, fitted with uprated twin-turbochargers, and produces anywhere from 680 to 830 BHP.
