This is especially noticeable in the third intake.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_368262\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-368262\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-368262\" src=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Capture2-3.jpg\" alt=\"Inside a Supra intake manifold\" width=\"1917\" height=\"963\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-368262\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">When coming off throttle suddenly, like in a shift, the compressed air expands and also blows back a little of the fuel from the injectors.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>This view is similar to what you would see inside such turbocharged beasts as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/the-new-2021-porsche-911-turbo-s-is-the-most-powerful-turbo-yet\/\">Porsche 911 Turbo S<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/2016-bugatti-chiron-bugatti\/\">Bugatti Chiron<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/ferrari-sf90-stradale\/\">Ferrari SF90 Stradale<\/a>, and the like.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_368263\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-368263\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-368263\" src=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Capture3-2.jpg\" alt=\"Inside a Supra intake manifold\" width=\"1919\" height=\"966\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-368263\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Wide-open throttle, full pressure, the injectors are just dumping fuel in as fast as they can<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Sometimes, it&#8217;s just really cool to look inside what we take for granted every day, that being the power of the engines of the cars we depend on and love so much!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you&#8217;ve ever wondered what goes on inside the intake manifold of a turbocharged engine, between the throttle body and the cylinders, do we have a video for you!
