A hardcore version of the already excellent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/2017-alfa-romeo-giulia-quadrifoglio\/\">Giulia Quadrifoglio<\/a>, it promised more speed, more power, and, importantly, more noise.<\/p>\n<p>After the Supercar Owners Club event in Gstaad, Switzerland that saw a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/2012-bugatti-164-veyron-grand-sport-vitesse\/\">Bugatti Veyro<\/a>n <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/bugatti-veyron-grand-sport-vitesse-annihilates-a-straw-bale\/\">annihilate a straw bale<\/a>, another video has emerged showing the very first public run of a Giulia GTAm in the wild!<\/p>\n<p><iframe class=\"zeen-lazy-load-base zeen-lazy-load\" title=\"Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm - Exhaust Sounds, Visual Review &amp; Accelerations!\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"about:blank\" data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/WTlu6n79bxk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><noscript><iframe title=\"Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm - Exhaust Sounds, Visual Review &amp; Accelerations!\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/WTlu6n79bxk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/noscript><\/p>\n<p>The best bit? This is the prototype car, Chassis #000\/500. Powered by a 2.9-liter, twin-turbocharged V6, the engine had a bit of a field trip during development to a small Italian company called Ferrari for some special tuning. As such, this car puts out 540 BHP.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-368474\" src=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Capture0-5.jpg\" alt=\"Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm\" width=\"1920\" height=\"965\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In amongst the other Ferrari models, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/2011-koenigsegg-agera-r\/\">Koenigsegg Agera R<\/a>, and a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/2011-pagani-huayra\/\">Pagani Huayra Roadster<\/a>, the Giulia GTAm roared and snorted its way off the line and down the runway.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-368478\" src=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Capture4-1.jpg\" alt=\"Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm\" width=\"1919\" height=\"959\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It may not have the typical scream of an Italian supercar or the barking rumble of a German one. What it does have, and what is extremely important for a limited run car, is its own personality.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-368473\" src=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Capture-6.jpg\" alt=\"Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm\" width=\"1920\" height=\"967\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The roar of acceleration with the sharp snort of a gearshift. The burbling, &#8220;come on, let&#8217;s go!&#8221; burble at idle.
