The company teased a new car that will <strong>make its global debut at the Automobile Museum of Turin on October 7.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nothing is known about the car at this time. The company just shared one image, and it&#8217;s all dark shadows, except for the headlights. The headlights are teardrop-shaped and there&#8217;s a large vent on the hood, <strong>so there&#8217;s a chance this could be a front-engined GT car with sexy curves and a big engine, but that&#8217;s purely speculation.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The name Taraschi Berardo comes from the company&#8217;s founder. That, however, isn&#8217;t much of an indication of anything other than the fact that the company will not forget its roots. <strong>Today, it is run by Berardo&#8217;s son Tazio.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s exciting to see Taraschi back in the car-making game. The company built hand-crafted Italian racing cars from 1947 to 1964. They were cobbled together from whatever the founder of the company could find. Taraschi managed to win a Sport 750-class win at the 1948 Targo Florio, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/carbuzz.com\/news\/italian-marque-returns-with-brand-new-sports-car\">CarBuzz<\/a>. That win came in a car that featured a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/category\/brand\/fiat\/\">Fiat<\/a> Topolino chassis and a BMW R75 motorcycle engine. The company also saw some success in the open-wheel Formula Junior series in 1958.
