It&#8217;s more driver-focused than the W12 version of the car and is arguably the better machine.<\/p>\n<p>The car is <strong>220 pounds lighter weight than the W12 version<\/strong>. A lot of that weight came out of the nose of the car, meaning it&#8217;s better balanced and more responsive to driver inputs.<\/p>\n<p>The engine is the same as is found in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/the-king-of-luxury-cars-is-here-the-new-bentley-continental-gt\/\">Continental GT<\/a>. It&#8217;s <strong>a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine<\/strong>. In the Flying Spur, the engine makes 542 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. This engine also has the ability to deactivate cylinders in light-load situations to help improve fuel economy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBased on our research, customer feedback and trends of customer usage, the new Flying Spur V8 has been engineered to deliver driver-focused ability, whilst offering passengers the refinement, comfort, and technology expected from a grand limousine,\u201d said Matthias Rabe, Member of the Board for Engineering at Bentley Motors.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of performance numbers, the car can hit <strong>60 mph from a standstill in just four seconds.<\/strong> It has a <strong>top speed of 198 mph<\/strong>.
