The car utilizes a twin-turbo V8 engine that puts out 700 hp. This is more than the GT3 and the GTE. There&#8217;s also an updated transmission with new ratios and a carbon fiber clutch.<\/p>\n<p>The 488 GT Modificata is a special car because <strong>it&#8217;s not limited by the FIA rule book<\/strong>. It&#8217;s a track car without any limitations. This means Ferrari engineers could give the 488 GT Modificata some things they couldn&#8217;t on other cars.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle has a reworked aerodynamics package that produces extremely high downforce. The pressure is shifted to the center forward area of the car. It&#8217;s designed to increase downforce without increasing overall drag. <strong>Total downforce created is 2,200 pounds at 143 mph.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The body of this car is made almost entirely of carbon fiber, though there is an aluminum roof and uprights. The braking system has some special Brembo calipers and the ABS system was pulled from the 488 GT3 Evo from 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Standard equipment brings V-Box with Bosch telemetry data acquisition system, a high-resolution rear-video camera, a second seat, and a TPMS system. <strong>Buyers can add pretty much whatever else they want to the car.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is a limited series model, and Ferrari will only sell it to drivers who have participated in a Competizioni GT with Ferrari or Club Competizioni GT.
