Gordon McCall’s Motorworks Revival 2015<\/h1>\n

The 2015 Monterey Car Week<\/a> glamour has officially begun with Gordon McCall’s Motorworks Revival<\/a>.\u00a0This year a stellar showing of supercars was on site including many top manufacturers with official displays.<\/p>\n

For many, the\u00a0McCall Motorworks Revival<\/a> at The Jet Center<\/a>\u00a0marks the real start of Monterey Car Week<\/a>. With exotics, hypercars,\u00a0private jets, military aircraft and even amphibious vehicles\u00a0this is\u00a0a scene you need to experience at least once.<\/p>\n

This year the show took up two hangars, with over\u00a0ten\u00a0automakers participating.\u00a0Luxury marques like Maserati\u00a0mixed it up with customizers like Singer. Dozens more modern and classic cars were on hand, most belonging to VIP guests and parked right out with the planes.<\/p>\n

The Porsche tinkerers at Singer unveiled their\u00a0stunning Porsche 911 Targa<\/a>. Shelby American was also at the revival for the public unveiling of the 50th Anniversary Daytona Coupe<\/a>. Ford GTs (old ones and new ones) were a huge hit\u00a0this year.\u00a0The Petersen Museum brought along an original racecar and a GT40 MKIII<\/a>\u00a0that looked just as stunning sitting next to the latest models. Some cars never age.<\/p>\n

Not to be outdone, the folks at Honda<\/a>\u00a0bought along their Honda\u00a0NSX and one of the McLaren F1 cars<\/a> that the company powered when it was a motorsport powerhouse.<\/p>\n

We were pleased to see official displays by Koenigsegg<\/a> and Pagani<\/a> which included the Pagani Zonda Revolucion<\/a> and Koenigsegg One:1<\/a>.<\/p>\n
