2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed<\/h1>\n

This year was the 23rd running of the Goodwood Festival of Speed hillclimb which was won outright by Olly Clark driving his Subaru Impreza ‘Gobstopper II’.<\/p>\n

Of course there were plenty of great sights, but for many the assembled display of Mercedes-Benz 300 SLRs defined the event. All but one surviving car were at Goodwood including Stirling Moss who piloted 722 up the hill.<\/p>\n

Many companies used Goodwood to show off new cars. Lotus unveiled the Lotus 3-Eleven<\/a> and Aston had their DB9 GT<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Track day specials were especially popular at Goodwood this year. Cars like the Aston Martin Vulcan, Ferrari FXX K and McLaren P1 GTR showcased the pinnacle of sports car performance.<\/p>\n

The Supercar run had all of the usual suspects and was won by Anthony Reid in a Noble M600.<\/p>\n
