Universally understood to be the<\/em> proving grounds for industry bragging rights, putting down the fastest lap times there is a crowning achievement for any automaker.<\/p>\n The lap time for the GT3 RS on official record is 6:49.328, though the track had recently been reconfigured in a way that is a little less flattering than before.<\/p>\n That being said, it’s still possible to derive what its time would’ve been on the more recognized “Sport Auto” 12.8-mile configuration, which in this case is 6:44.848.<\/strong><\/p>\n This certainly makes it the fastest GT3 RS to date, and also the quickest naturally-aspirated production car to lap the ‘Ring.
