Remember the Bugatti Chiron Profil\u00e9e<\/a> we presented to you a while ago? This car from Molsheim almost didn’t get built because all 500 build slots for the Chiron sold out too quickly, but in the end, Bugatti decided to build one single unit, and no matter how much money you had in your bank account, you couldn’t get your hands on it through a local dealership, Bugatti had something special in mind for this one-off model, the Bugatti Chiron Profil\u00e9e will enter the RM Sotheby\u2019s auction at the Louvre art gallery in Paris on February 1, 2023, and I have a feeling this final W16 car available from Molsheim could fetch a serious final bid, the W16 as we know it today will never be replicated again, making the Profil\u00e9e the end of an era for Bugatti.<\/p>\n

For this car that would be destined to be a one-off, Bugatti came up with a few very special details that would only be seen on the Chiron Profil\u00e9e, like the shade on the body, called Argent Atlantique, uniquely developed just for the Chiron Profil\u00e9e, the lower section of the car are adorned in bleu-tinted clear carbon fiber, and even the wheels are bespoke to this model only, as is the \u2018ducktail\u2019 rear wing integrated into the rear section of this 1,500 PS strong W16 masterpiece, but the differences between this one-off and the regular Chiron don\u2019t end there, Bugatti also changed both the steering and the suspension settings on the Profil\u00e9e for more responsive handling. Putting in shorter gear ratios on the transmission and an increased rev limit to 6,900 rpm (200 rpm more) will keep the Chiron Profil\u00e9e accelerating all the way up to a top speed of 380 km\/h.<\/p>\n
