At the recent Tokyo Auto Salon, Japanese tuning company Liberty Walk<\/a> introduced one of their most ambitious\u00a0 projects yet, a Ferrari F40 with a unique widebody makeover. \u00a0The F40 was the last car developed and built under Enzo Ferrari\u2019s direct supervision before he died. Following the turbocharged successes in Formula One, the 288 GTO was Ferrari\u2019s first road-going turbocharged model in 1984. The F40 followed in its path and shared its longitudinal, mid-mounted, twin turbocharged V8 configuration. Power came from a large V8 engine that produced 478 bhp and 426 lb-ft torque.<\/p>\n

Although Ferrari has strict regulations when it comes to modifying their cars, that doesn’t stop Liberty Walk from doing what they do best. This new offering from the Japanese tuning company gives the Ferrari F40 a more aggressive look. All F40s were finished in red out of the factory, but this one comes with a white finish along with the Japanese flag and some sponsorship decals. The car sports a new front cowl, cowl duct, diffusers, light covers, rear wing, lip spoiler, enlarged exhaust tips, aftermarket wheels, and widened fenders.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
