High<\/span>–<\/span>performance exhaust systems for the world\u2019s most exclusive automobiles<\/span> are a particular<\/span> specialty of NOVITEC. Prec<\/span>ise<\/span> exhaust routing<\/span>, innovative<\/span> skillful<\/span> solutions, and materials as<\/span> well as outstanding bui<\/span>ld quality are at the very top of the developers\u2019 specifications<\/span>.<\/span> This was of<\/span> course also true for the design of the<\/span> NOVITEC<\/span> exhaust<\/span> system<\/span> for the<\/span> 296 GTB<\/span> h<\/span>ybrid<\/span> sport<\/span>s<\/span> car<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The exhaust systems for the<\/span> V6<\/span> are available made from stainless steel or from I<\/span>NCONEL, the<\/span> hi<\/span>–<\/span>tech alloy also used in Formula 1 racing<\/span>.<\/span> To optimize the temperatures in the engine bay, all<\/span> systems are wrapped in high<\/span>–<\/span>temperature insulation<\/span>.<\/span> In connection with the<\/span> INCONEL<\/span> version,<\/span> t<\/span>his effect can be further amplified<\/span> with 999 fine gold<\/span> plating, which<\/span> makes the exhaust look as<\/span> special as it is<\/span> beside<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To further optimize the exhaust<\/span> flow<\/span>, the NOVITEC engineers additionally developed custom<\/span> turbo inlets and tailor<\/span>–<\/span>made 100<\/span>–<\/span>cell metal catalysts. All in all, the NOVITEC modifications to t<\/span>he<\/span> exhaust side produce an increase in peak power by<\/span> 28 kW \/ 38<\/span> hp<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span> This is accompanied by a thrilling exhaust note<\/span>,<\/span> which the version with actively controlled<\/span> butterfly valves allows<\/span> the driver in the cockpit<\/span> to<\/span> adjust<\/span> individually from a<\/span>n<\/span> electrifying,<\/span> racy<\/span> to <\/span>a full<\/span>–<\/span>blooded racing sound<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Various tailpipes with a diameter of 102 millimeters are available to showcase the<\/span> NOVITEC<\/span> exhaust system visually. The<\/span>y<\/span> come with or without carbon embellishments and are optionally<\/span> available with particularly stylish 99<\/span>9 fine gold plating<\/span>.<\/span> NOVITEC also offers a mesh insert for<\/span> the perfect integration of the exhaust pipes into the rear end, which<\/span> in addition<\/span> helps to<\/span> discharge more heated air from the engine bay<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

While the<\/span> NOVITEC<\/span> a<\/span>erodynami<\/span>c<\/span>–<\/span>enhancement range of naked c<\/span>arbon components is still<\/span> under development, various hi<\/span>–<\/span>tech wheels<\/span> for upgrading the looks<\/span> are already available. These<\/span> wheels were developed<\/span> in<\/span> c<\/span>ooperation<\/span> with<\/span> Vossen<\/span>,<\/span> America\u2019s leading manufacturer of cutting<\/span>–<\/span>edge forged wheels<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span> The NOVITEC NF 10 whee<\/span>ls are<\/span> produced<\/span> from hi<\/span>–<\/span>tech blanks using state<\/span>–<\/span>of<\/span>–<\/span>the<\/span>–<\/span>art machining<\/span> technology. They make perfect use of the available space under the wheel arches of the<\/span> 296<\/span> GTB.<\/span> For these photos, the variant painted high<\/span>–<\/span>gloss black with hub covers in a center lock look<\/span> w<\/span>as<\/span> selected from a<\/span> range<\/span> of 72 colors<\/span> and various surface finishes<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The NF 10 alloys feature five delicate twin spokes extending all the way to the outer<\/span>most<\/span> edge<\/span> and are some of the lightest wheels of their kind in this king<\/span>–<\/span>sized range<\/span>.<\/span> The attached pho<\/span>tos<\/span> show the two<\/span>–<\/span>seater fitted with a c<\/span>ombination<\/span> of size<\/span> 9.5Jx21<\/span> wheels at the front with<\/span> 255\/30 ZR<\/span> 21<\/span> tires and<\/span> rims of size<\/span> 11.5Jx22<\/span> with<\/span> 335\/25 R 22<\/span> tires on the rear axle<\/span>.<\/span> The different<\/span> diameters on both axles place even greater emphasis on the wedge<\/span> shape of the<\/span> Ferrari.<\/span><\/span><\/span> The NOVITEC s<\/span>port<\/span>s<\/span> springs appropriately lower the vehicle\u2019s ride height by 35 millimeters.<\/span> This measure has a positive impact not only on the looks but<\/span> also<\/span> on the handling<\/span> thanks to the<\/span> lowered center of mass<\/span>.<\/span> To make it easier t<\/span>o navigate entrances, exits, and ramps in parking<\/span> garages, a NOVITEC front lift system is available for the<\/span> 296 GTB<\/span> as well<\/span>. It<\/span> hydraulically<\/span> raises <\/span>the nose of the vehicle by about 40 millimeters at the touch of a button.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
