The series is intended for those cars which qualified for the 1970-1972 Trans-Am 2.5-liter Championship. Some of the cars eligible for competition include: Alfa Romeo 1600-2000 GTV; BMW 2002, 2000 tii; Datsun 510-1600, 1800; Ford Pinto 1600, 2000; Toyota Corolla 1600; Triumph 2.0 Vitesse; and Volvo P-544.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The series will consist of six races held in conjunction with HSR-West events at different racetracks across the West Coast.
