The first decade of the 24-Hours of Le Mans was virtually dominated by Bentley. The famed cars from Crewe won the French classic in 1924 and 1927-1930 before retiring from motorsport. Now after a 70-year hiatus, Bentley has announced that it will return with a radical, all carbon-fiber prototype known as the Bentley EXP Speed 8. Secretly under development for more than a year, the new Bentley racer is powered by parent company Audi\u2019s Le Mans-proven V8 and will be driven by accomplished endurance racers Andy Wallace, James Weaver and Butch Leitzinger.<\/p>\n
