The \u201cIdes of March\u201d didn\u2019t bode well for old Julius Caesar, but for those of us in the historic racing world, March means the beginning of a new season of racing \u2013 with all the excitement and possibilities that a new season brings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The start of a new season also means that we have survived yet another off-season, usually with little or no racing to speak of. I was thinking of this fact the other day, and it got me going on all the crazy things we do to tied ourselves over between seasons. Ok, honesty time now. Just between us girls, how many times did you go out to the garage or down to the shop over the past few months with no other reason than to sit in the racecar for a little while and dream.
