{"id":459707,"date":"2002-05-01T03:06:29","date_gmt":"2002-05-01T10:06:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sportscardigest.com\/\/?p=111651"},"modified":"2024-02-11T05:17:35","modified_gmt":"2024-02-11T05:17:35","slug":"new-historic-sports-car-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/new-historic-sports-car-festival\/","title":{"rendered":"New Historic Sports Car Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Internaional Speedway Corporation\u2019s California Speedway has announced that it has chosen HSR-West as the sanctioning body for its upcoming Historic Sports Car Festival to be held June 21-23.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 3-day event will be the first spectator historic event to be held at the super-speedway and take place on the new 2.4-mile road course, which includes both a new infield section and portions of the banked oval.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Twelve races are planned including special races for historic NASCAR stock cars, early Can-Am, GTP\/Group C, 2.0-liter Porsche Challenge, Vintage 2.5 B-Sedan\/Trans-Am, 2.0-liter formula car Challenge, BMW 2002 Challenge, as well as HSR-West\u2019s normal race groupings.
