At the time, long distance grids had numerous English specials and small production racers\u2014Nomad, Daren and Dulon, just to name a few. But Bob Curl went onto bigger things, using his racing experience and design expertise in several areas, and more recently has been grappling with environmental vehicles for production, using his knowledge of making slippery and lightweight cars for nearly 40 years.
