Could we soon see a return of the famous Nassau Speedweeks? Quite possibly if a group calling itself Bahamas Motorsports has its way. According to the group\u2019s leader, Gerry Wirth, plans are afoot to build a 2.3-mile road course on the same site where the races were held from the mid-\u201950s to the early-\u201980s. Wirth claims that the government has granted a 50-year lease for the land which currently houses a quarter-mile drag strip.
