Considering the iconic nature of the GT40, it may come as something of a surprise that there are few Web sites devoted to the history of these awesome machines. In fact, in all of our searching, we were only able to find two active sites that dealt exclusively with the GT40 and only one that devoted exclusively to the original cars and not the many replicas available.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Our first site is a fairly simple one that covers the four different versions (MkI, MkII, MkIII and MkIV) of the original GT40. Each model receives a glossary history as well as an explanation of what distinguishes it from the others. While this site does offer several photos of each model, its scope is very limited.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Our second site is the official Web site of the GT40 Enthusiasts club. This site features club news, contacts, GT40 specifications, photos, copies of period press releases and a center for buying and selling original cars and parts.<\/p>\n
