<\/a>So much has been written about the pride of Maranello that it is very hard to pick up a book on Ferrari and find much that is new. However, Karl Ludvigsen and Iconografix has managed to do just that with a fascinating picture book that takes a behind-the-scenes look at the Ferrari factory from 1950-1975.<\/p>\nDrawing on his massive photo archive and unprecedented access to Enzo Ferrari\u2019s workshops during this period, Ludvigsen provides a rare and revealing look at the construction and development of some of Ferrari\u2019s most interesting street and racecars. In fact, Ludvigsen\u2019s access was so good that after the Commendatore learned of some of his pictures of the developing flat-12 Formula One engine, Ferrari asked Ludvigsen not to publish them and so they appear in this collection for the very first time.<\/p>\n
