Driven by Jackie Stewart during the last part of the 1970 Formula One season and the first part of the 1972 season, 001 scored three poles and three podium finishes, laying the groundwork for Tyrrell and Stewart winning the championship in 1971.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">While 001 has always remained in the Tyrrell family, a unique arrangement has been struck between the family and American Tyrrell afficionado John Delane, whereby Delane has had the car restored to race-ready condition, in return for the right to race and serve as the custodian of this rare piece of Formula One history.
