(HSR) and Watkins Glen International Raceway have announced that HSR\u2019s Chemung Canal Trust Historic races June 4\u20136 will feature a tribute to the 30th anniversary of the International Race of Champions (IROC).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Originally the brainchild of Roger Penske and Riverside Raceway General Manager Les Richter, the IROC concept was to take the world\u2019s greatest racing drivers, from the various racing disciplines, place them in identically prepared racecars and let them battle it out for the title of Champion of Champions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This year HSR and Watkins Glen will honor the 30th anniversary of that championship with special events highlighting the drivers and cars that made the IROC so special.
